5.3.0 Quality Assurance Support Specialist

5.3.1 Tasks may include but are not limited to the following:

  1. Prepare Quality Management System information;
  2. Promote Quality Management;
  3. Assist with the review / preparation of Quality System documents;
  4. Review and comment on Quality System non-conformance;
  5. Review and comment on internal audit plans and schedules with respect ot Quality Assurance;
  6. Provide technical and administrative support on Quality Management matters; and
  7. Provide Quality Management system training.

5.3.2 Occupational Categories and Minimum Mandatory Qualifications

A. Junior Quality Assurance Support Specialist

No. Description of Criterion
M.1 Must have a minimum of a secondary school graduate diploma/certificate.
M.2 Must have a minimum of two (2) years of experience as a Quality Assurance Support Specialist.

B. Intermediate Quality Assurance Support Specialist

No. Description of Criterion
M.1 Must have a minimum of a secondary school graduate diploma/certificate.
M.2 Must have a minimum of five (5) years of experience as a Quality Assurance Support Specialist.

C. Senior Quality Assurance Support Specialist

No. Description of Criterion
M.1 Must have a minimum of a secondary school graduate diploma/certificate.
M.2 Must have a minimum of eight (8) years of experience as a Quality Assurance Support Specialist.
