Item

Item 1 Approval of RoDs

  • Feedback from Committee members on the RoD's for 20 June, 27 June, 4 July, 11 July, 18 July and 25 July is to be sent to PWGSC on or before Friday, 3 August 2007, close of business.
  • It is noted that the July 25th RoD is to be modified to better describe the agreement concerning overtime, i.e. Overtime must be pre-approved by the Client via an email to the Active SO or SA Holder. It is also recognized that the provincial legislation in effect at the time of approval of overtime governs and cannot be altered.

Item 2 Handout: Final Classifications (Streams 1 through 5)

  • The “Meeting Planner” classification is to be rolled into the Administrative Services classification. No other changes.

Item 3 Update on GoCM activities

  • The design changes listed in the July 25th RoDs have been included in the conceptual design.

Item 4 Final comments on RFSO/SA

  • Wording changes made to text affecting pages 39, 43, 55, 317 and 319, including a substantial revision to page 318 relating to testing. These changes were immediately made to the RFSO/SA document.
  • The list of exempted classifications was established:
    • Special Advisor
    • Auditor
    • HR General
    • Policy and
    • Project Administrator
The position of ACSESS that the Executive Assistant classification should be included was not accepted as the agreement for this exclu-sion was based on the classification being new and possibly difficult to price.
  • ACSESS also requested that the system force progressively higher rates, i.e. each higher level must have a higher rate. Although this is possible from a system design perspective, PWGSC did not support the concept as it implies that the Government is controlling/regulating the pricing. ACSESS was requested to provide an e-mail succinctly describing their concern and the rationale for their proposed solution.

Item 5 Round Table

  • Special thanks were extended to Sylvie Fournier for the tremendous effort in preparing the RFSO/SA.
  • Special thanks were also extended to Phil Battaglini for work carried out and completed resulting in the final classification documents (5 streams).

Item 6 Next meeting

  • 15 August 2007, including attendance by the DM and ADM. One hour will be reserved for discussions with the DM. Ideally, a presentation on the conceptual design will also be included (provided PWGSC can produce several flat screens in time for the meeting.
