Item 1 New Members to the Committee

Two new members to the Committee were introduced - Caroline Carson from Health Canada and Sandy Proulx from DND.

Item 2 Approval of Record of Decision of November 27th Meeting

The Record of Decision from the November 27, 2008 meeting was adopted by the Committee with one revision: Item 1, second paragraph is hereby revised as follows: "The new members to the Committee were introduced - David Skippen and Debbie Toll, DND."

Item 3 Assessment Framework for THS On-Line System Applicable to Federal Department Users and Suppliers

The Assessment Framework for the THS On-Line System Applicable to Federal Department Users and Suppliers was tabled. PWGSC provided an overview of the Framework: the Framework is connected to the Protocol and Standards document in the THS RFSO/RFSA. Members were requested to provide comments to PWGSC for discussion at the December 18th meeting of the Committee.

Item 4 Sanctions Document

PWGSC provided members of the Committee with a copy of the Sanctions document. Members were requested to provide comments to PWGSC for discussion at the December 18th meeting of the Committee.

Item 5 Other Items

Industry requested a clarification pertaining to the Method of Payment business rule that appears in the Review of Business Rules/Requirements document for the new THS On-Line System and new Method of Supply, which was distributed to Committee members at the November 27th meeting. Page 31, last bullet item, last sentence reads "In this manner, clients who will settle invoices by other means than credit cards will be able to negotiate price reduction." PWGSC confirmed that this sentence is to be deleted.

PWGSC also informed the Industry that in the same document, the total number of classifications in the new THS system should be 331, not 328.

Item 6 Next Meeting

The next meeting will be held December 11, 2008 at Place du Portage, 11 Laurier, PDP III, Gatineau, Québec, Tower A, 14A2, Boardroom 101, from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM. The Agenda for the next meeting will be sent to members via e-mail prior to the meeting.
