Note: Pre-Second Language Evaluation (SLE) sessions may be launched at any time.

When there is one or more than one holiday during the session at which the learner will be registered, 7 hours per holiday must be subtracted from the total number of training hours for the session. For example: If the total number of hours for a step of the pre-SLE session is 210 hours and there are two holidays during the session, the call-up must be issued for a total of 196 hours.

Stream 2: Full-time group training in English on the Offeror's premises

12 weeks—Full time—420 hours

Charpentier (CLIC)

When there is one or more than one holiday during the session at which the learner will be registered, 7 hours per holiday must be subtracted from the total number of training hours for the session. For example: If the total number of hours for a step is 420 hours and there are two holidays during the session, the call-up must be issued for a total of 406 hours.

Streams 3A, 3B and 3C: Part-time group training in French on the Offeror's premises

Stream 4: Part-time group training in French at a federal institution

There are no schedules. Please contact PSPC at achatsformationlinguistique.languagetrainingprocurement@tpsgc-pwgsc.gc.ca to know the supplier that will be delivering part-time group language training.

As groups will take place in federal institution, they can start at any time. The sessions could have various durations (number of hours per week and number of weeks) as defined by the federal institution.

For example: If the total number of hours for a session is 36 hours (3 hours per week) and there is one holiday during the session, the call-up must be issued for a total of 33 hours.

The Offeror is Graybridge Malkam (see List of offerors and hourly rates per learner, accessible to Public Services and Procurement Canada employees only).

If the value of the call-up is $25,000 or more, please contact PSPC at achatsformationlinguistique.languagetrainingprocurement@tpsgc-pwgsc.gc.ca to know the supplier that will be delivering individual language training.

Streams 8, 9B, 9C, 9D and 10

There are no schedules.

There is only one Offeror per work stream; you can send your call-up directly to the Standing Offer Holder (see List of offerors and hourly rates per learner, accessible to Public Services and Procurement Canada employees only).

3.2 Other regions

Streams 1 and 2: Full-time group and pre-second language evaluation training on the Offeror's premises

When there is one or more than one holiday during the session at which the learner will be registered, you must subtract 7 hours per holiday from the total number of training hours for the session. For example: If the total number of hours for a step is 315 hours and there are two holidays during the session, the call-up must be issued for a total of 301 hours.

Session dates

First option

In each session, the six (6) steps of the training programs (French and English) will be offered.

Second option

The second option allows the Offeror, with the prior approval of the Standing Offer Authority, to begin a course outside of predefined dates when at least two (2) registration requests have been received, in order to meet immediate requirements.

Pre-Second Language Evaluation (Make-up sessions): 210 hours (6 weeks)

For groups created by the Identified User (IU), the number of hours and sessions per week will be defined in the call-up, complying with the following parameters:

Note for the Montréal area: Except for the needs under $25,000 or less, Federal institutions will have to follow the offeror ranking when submitting their call-ups. Requests above $25,000 will be sent to the 1st ranked offeror. Should the offeror prove to be incapable of performing the work because of lack of capacity, federal institutions will submit their call-ups to the 2nd ranked offeror:

  1. Académie linguistique internationale (Prolang division)
  2. Cité / Caron in Joint Venture

When there is one holiday during the session at which the learner will be registered, you must subtract the number of training hours that was scheduled that day. For example: If the total number of hours for a session is 24 hours (2 hours per week) and there are two holidays during the session, the call-up must be issued for a total of 20 hours.

Streams 4 and 6: Part-time group training at a federal institution

For groups in the federal institutions created by the Identified User (IU), the number of hours and sessions per week will be defined in the call-up, complying with the following parameters:

For the Montréal area: There are no schedules for individual training. Please refer to the registration and cancellation procedures.

For all other geographical areas: There are no schedules. There is only one Offeror per work stream; you can send your call-up directly to the Standing Offer Holder (see List of offerors and hourly rates per learner), accessible to Public Services and Procurement Canada employees only).
