1.1 National Capital Region

1.1.1 Work streams for full-time group training

Work stream 1: Full-time group training in French on the Offeror's premises
Training location: The training will be given on the Offeror's premises in the NCR. The training rooms are located within a 10 km radius from the centre of the river behind the library of the Parliament of Canada (consult the list of offerors for the exact address of the training).
Number of learners: 4 to 6
Training schedule: 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday to Friday
Number of hours of training per week: 35 hours
Allocation of work: rotational basis (assignment of steps 1 to 6) (consult the session schedule for Work stream 1)

Language level evaluation: Linguistic Evaluation mandatory*

*It is strongly recommended to use the services of an Offeror from Work Stream 1, 2, 7 or 8.


Work stream 2: Full-time group training in English on the Offeror's premises
Training location: The training is given on the Offeror's premises in the NCR. The training rooms are located within a 10 km radius from the centre of the river behind the library of the Parliament of Canada (consult the list of offerors for the exact address of the training).
Number of learners: 3 to 6
Training schedule: 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday to Friday

1.1.2 Work streams for part-time group training

Work stream 3A: Part-time group training in French on the Offeror's premises in the Ottawa-Gatineau downtown area
Training location: The training is given on the Offeror's premises in the NCR. The classrooms must be located within the following boundaries: Between Wellington Street, Maclaren Street, Bay Street and Elgin Street in Ottawa and between Laurier Street, Sacré-Coeur Boulevard and St-Rédempteur Street in Gatineau, Quebec (consult the list of offerors for the exact address of the training).
Number of learners: 6 to 8
Training schedule: from 8:45 a.m. to 12 noon and/or from 1:00 p.m. to 4:15 p.m. with a 15 minutes break. For groups created by the Identified User (Federal Institution), the schedule will be stated in the call-up. The training will take place between 8:00 a.m. and 4:30 p.m., Monday to Friday
Number of hours of training per week: One three-hour class per week or two three-hour classes for a total of six hours per week.

The classrooms must be within a 10 km radius from the center of the river behind the library of the Parliament on Wellington Street, Ottawa, Ontario, on the Outaouais side, in the province of Quebec, except for the predefined area in stream 3A (consult the list of offerors for the exact address of the training).
Number of learners: 6 to 8

Training location: at a federal institution
Training schedule: 7:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday to Friday
Number of hours of training per week: less than 15 hours
Allocation of work: only one Offeror* (Consult the list of offerors)
* 2 Offerors for the Montreal area: Refer to clause 8.3 of standing offers

  1. Value $25,000 or less: Federal institutions may select the Offeror of their choice between both.
  2. Value more than $25,000: Federal institutions choose the offeror in their order of their classification. The method of selecting bidders is based on the "right of first refusal" principle.
