The Consulting, Information and Shared Services Branch supports PWGSC's mandate by providing key services—such as communications coordination, consulting, industrial security, shared corporate software—that respond to the business needs of federal departments and agencies while ensuring the best value for the Canadian public.

Our services promote integrated and effective Government communications by providing Canadians information about:

• publications produced through or by the Government of Canada
• laws, regulations and notices affecting their lives, published in the Canada Gazette
• federal government programs at exhibitions across Canada
• Government of Canada advertising and public opinion research

In addition, our management consulting services for government clients provide specialized assistance to federal and some international organizations. We also provide integrated program support to "IT clusters" of departments and agencies and transactional Human Resources services to small departments and agencies.

To support Canada’s economic, security and defence objectives, we offer industrial security services such as security screening in areas such as contracting, controlled goods and organizational security screenings to public and private sector clients.
