Éviter les ruptures de construction (SFE-115) [offered in French only]

This training is offered in French only and is intended for people translating or revising English-to-French texts. More details below.

Professional training

Do you know what an anacoluthon is? What about a zeugma or a solecism? They are all names of problems with sentence structure (or syntax) that can make a translated text ambiguous or even unintentionally hilarious. This workshop will help participants recognize these errors in order to avoid them. The workshop will also focus on reviewing the rules for using present participles in English and in French.
