B.22 Insurance
It is the sole responsibility of the Contractor to determine
whether or not any insurance coverage, in addition to any specific insurance
requirements stipulated in this Contract, is necessary for its own protection
or to fulfill its obligations under the Contract, including:
(a)
any insurance required by federal, provincial or municipal
law;
(b)
coverage to insure against risks such as damage, theft, loss
or destruction of equipment installed by the Contractor on
Canada's property for the purpose of performing the Work; and
(c)
damage it causes to any property of Canada.
Any such insurance must be obtained and maintained by the Contractor
at its own expense.
