CGSB Qualification Program for CATSA Screening Contractors

The Canadian General Standards Board (CGSB) is please to announce the re-launch of the qualification program for airport screening contractors based on the CATSA (Canadian Air Transport Security Authority) Screening Contractor Management System Standard. Organizations qualified to the standard are eligible to participate in future CATSA Request for Proposals for screening services at designated Canadian airports. The qualification program is part of the certification requirements for organizations entering into an Airport Screening Services Agreement with CATSA.

Handbook

In the handbook, applicants will find complete information about the qualification program, including application requirements, processes, forms and costs. Please keep a copy of this handbook for future reference.

Checklist

The CGSB requires this checklist to be completed by the applicants to aid in both the document review and the on-site field audit. The checklist is a breakdown of the CATSA Screening Contractor Management System Standard and is designed to map the applicant's documentation to the individual elements.
