OSME - Supplier Seminars

The Office of Small and Medium Enterprises (OSME) – Ontario Region offers the following seminars to individuals and groups. Seminars include the fundamentals of selling goods and services to the Government of Canada.

• Doing Business with the Government of Canada:
  Introductory Supplier Seminar
  This seminar provides information on how to market to the Government of Canada, how the government does its buying, and how to keep track of opportunities to bid on Government of Canada purchases.

• Doing Business with the Government of Canada:
  Bidding on Opportunities
  This seminar provides advice and guidance on preparing a proposal; requirements of a Request for Proposal (RFP); how bids are evaluated and how SMEs should respond to an RFP.

• Doing Business with the Government of Canada:
  Understanding SELECT
  SELECT is an online registration database for firms providing real property, construction and maintenance, architectural and engineering services; it is the tool PWGSC uses to identify qualified firms and individuals for low-dollar-value opportunities.
