Welcome to Western Region

The Western Region of Public Works and Government Services Canada (PWGSC) includes the provinces of Manitoba, Saskatchewan, Alberta, and the Northwest Territories.

PWGSC - Western Region provides common and administrative services to a variety of federal client departments in diverse locations over a vast geographical area from metropolitan centres to remote hamlets in the High Arctic.

Currently there are approximately 800 employees in the Western Region who possess a diverse and wide variety of skills and abilities. These employees offer services and expertise in such specialized fields as realty assessment, property management, purchasing, and environmental assessment.

PWGSC - Western Region clients are served from offices in Winnipeg, Regina, Saskatoon, Edmonton, Calgary, Yellowknife, Inuvik, Fort Smith, Hay River and Fort Simpson.
