Updating— ReTaken on Strength (RE-TOS) Calculation System

Updating System Tables

1. Call up the RE-TOS Calculation System
2. Under the menu option "File", select "Security Administration".
3. You will be prompted for a password, which is "RETOSPASS". (upper or lower case, it doesn't matter).
4. After pressing "OK", a message should say "administration rights have been established".
5. Under the menu option "Tables", select "Superannuation Tables".
6. Press the "Add" button in order to add a line for the new year.
7. On the newly added line, enter the following information under the listed headings:
   
   • "Year" - XXXX (i.e. 1998)
   • "Low rate Maximum" - XXXX.XX (i.e. 1436.20)
   • "Pay Period Exemption" - XXX.XX (i.e. 134.62)
   • "Low Rate Percentage" - X.XX (i.e. 4.30)
   • "High Rate Percentage" - X.XX (i.e. 7.50).
8. Click on the tab marked "PSSA Maximum to RCA".
9. Press the "Add" button in order to add a line for the new year.
10. On the newly added line enter the following information:
    • "Year" - XXXX (i.e. 1998)
    • "PSSA Ceiling" - XXXXX (i.e. 99100)
11. Press the "Close" button to save all the entries to both tables.

If the system is installed on a network, the above will update the network version of the RE-TOS for all network users. If the system is installed as a stand-alone then each Personal Computer (PC) will have to have to be done separately.
