Download Information — ReTaken on Strength (RE-TOS) Calculation System

WARNING to Public Works and Government Services Canada (PWGSC) Users - If you are connected to a PWGSC server, the RE-TOS Calculation System is already installed - all you need to do is request access from your local area network (LAN) Authority. Under no circumstances should you attempt to download, since this will compromise any future attempts to connect with the official version of the RE-TOS Calculation System.

This is version 4.0.2 of the RE-TOS Calculation System for Windows 9x, NT, XP and 2000 released August 2010. It renders all previous versions obsolete. Please see the Technical Requirements section for information regarding other operating environments and to determine if you meet the minimum technical requirements to use this application.

The file you will download is called RETOS402.EXE  (EXE 30MB). It is a compressed, self-extracting executable file.

This program will install the entire RE-TOS Calculation System version 4.0.2

As previously stated the minimum requirements for RE-TOS version 4.0 or greater are Microsoft's .NET Framework version 2.0 and Microsoft Data Access Components (MDAC) version 2.7. If your workstation does not meet these requirements, free distributable copies of these can be obtained from Microsoft and must be installed prior to installing the RETOS system.

Download the RETOS402.EXE  (EXE 30MB) file to any directory on your hard disk.

When you have downloaded the file, you must execute/run the RETOS402.EXE  (EXE 30MB) file. It will then extract the files required to install the system. The four files are :

• SETUP.EXE
• RETOS Setup Package.msi
• README.TXT
• LIREMOI.TXT
