Industry engagement on the National Shipbuilding Strategy
One of the fundamental principles of the National Shipbuilding Strategy is to engage industry to inform Canada’s decisions. This conversation allows government to align procurement requirements with what industry can deliver, while promoting a fair, transparent and competitive approach.
Regional marine industry workshops
The Government of Canada is committed to engaging industry to inform decisions on the National Shipbuilding Strategy (NSS).
The Marine Services and Small Vessels Sector of Public Services and Procurement Canada is hosting a series of workshops to advance the development of strategies under the national Repair, Refit and Maintenance and Small Vessel Construction program. The goal is to ensure strategies are aligned with industry best practices, capabilities and capacity, and support NSS objectives.
- November 14 and 15, 2017, Hamilton, Ontario
- January 23 and 24, 2018, Halifax, Nova Scotia
- March 20 and 21, 2018, Québec City, Quebec
