Streamline and modernize military procurement processes to help Canadian Armed Forces members receive the equipment they need faster, without compromising on oversight and due diligence.

In November 2018, Public Services and Procurement Canada (PSPC) launched an 18-month pilot project to assess a risk-based approach to approving contracts for defence procurements. This will allow PSPC to approve higher-value defence procurement contracts and contractual arrangements of lower risk that exceed PSPC’s current contracting limits.

In progress. As of May 3, 2019, 6 procurement files have been approved within PSPC.
