Note:

The following reviews by Public Services and Procurement Canada (PSPC) staff are for the sole purpose of ascertaining that the material complies with governmental and departmental objectives and practices. They shall not mean the detail design inherent in the design and construction documents is approved, responsibility for which shall remain with the consultant, and such reviews shall not relieve the consultant of its responsibility for errors or omissions in the design documents or of their responsibility for meeting all requirements of the contract documents (Clause 9999 DA SR 4.2. Note: Clause number is subject to change)
"No acceptance or approval by the departmental representative, whether expressed or implied, shall be deemed to relieve the consultant of the professional or technical responsibility for the services provided by the consultant."

(The Consultant must obtain written preauthorization from the Departmental Representative before proceeding with each stage of design and construction document production).
