Close out document

Definition

The purpose of this document is to mark the completion of the project and provide evidence of compliance and monitoring (Directive on the Monitoring of Real Property Projects’ Conformance to the National Project Management System) by recording completed project activities and identifying lessons learned. The close out document includes high-level lessons learned and provides the location of the major deliverables.

The signatures of the Project Leader and Project Manager, and approval by appropriate authority (refer to Real Property National Project Management System (NPMS) Directive), mark the project closure.
