Project management plan
Definition
The project management plan (PMP) defines the project objective and scope for the approved solution, as well as how it is executed, monitored, and controlled during the Delivery Stage. The PMP details project activities from the Planning Phase to project completion and ensures that the project objectives and requirements provide sufficient detail to allow for the preparation of complete project instruction to the project team.
In cases where a substantial amount of time has passed since the receipt of the PPA, it is essential that all original identified requirements & drivers be verified/validated against current project conditions including time and budget availability. When all information has been confirmed, the appropriate authority then approves the PMP.
