Explanation

The purpose of the Delivery Close Out control point is to mark the project closure. By signing the close out document, the Project Leader and Project Manager confirm that closure activities have been completed and that project deliverables have been received and accepted.

The close out document approval facilitates future due diligence and the transfer of project knowledge to stakeholders.
