Public Service Employee Survey 2019 results

January 24, 2020

The Public Service Employee Survey (PSES) highlights web page has been updated to clarify that, of the 74% of employees who indicated their pay or other compensation has been affected by issues with the Phoenix pay system, 59% have experienced new pay or compensation issues in the last 12 months. This represents 44% of all respondents.

In 2017, approximately 18 months following the launch of Phoenix, 69% of PSES respondents reported having pay issues. We understand that pay and compensation issues continue to cause hardship for public service employees. PSPC will consider the findings, and continue to work with stakeholders, including unions and employees, as we work towards stabilizing the Phoenix pay system.
