Pursuant to paragraph 3 of the Atlantic Canada Opportunities Act, the Minister of Industry has been appointed as the appropriate minister for the Atlantic Canada Opportunities Agency, effective March 14, 2025. Prior to the transfer, non-statutory expenditures of approximately $309,643,314 were approved by the Minister of Rural Economic Development and Minister responsible for the Atlantic Canada Opportunities Agency. Previous year's amounts have been restated by $478,430,586.
