Following the Royal Assent of Bill C-59 and pursuant to Division 11 of Part 5 of the bill, the Department of Housing, Infrastructure and Communities Act was enacted, establishing the Department of Housing, Infrastructure and Communities, repealing the Canada Strategic Infrastructure Fund Act and dissolving the Office of Infrastructure of Canada, effective June 20, 2024.
