During the year, the Secretariat of the National Security and Intelligence Committee of Parliamentarians was transferred from the Ministry of Parliament to the Ministry of Democratic Institutions, effective March 14, 2025. Prior to the transfer, non-statutory expenditures of approximately $2,395,891 were approved by the Leader of the Government in the House of Commons.  Previous year's amounts have been restated by $3,029,255.
