Orders in Council P.C. 2025–0407 and 2025–0408, designated the Minister of Industry as the appropriate minister for the Federal Economic Development Agency for Northern Ontario, effective March 14, 2025. Prior to the transfer, non-statutory expenditures of approximately $48,484,761 were approved by the Minister of Indigenous Services. Previous year's amounts have been restated by $71,776,379.
