Mr. Michael Wernick
Clerk of the Privy Council and Secretary to the Cabinet
80 Wellington Street, Room 332
Ottawa, Ontario K1A 0A3

Dear Mr. Wernick,

Thank you for reaching out to us recently regarding our experiences with the Phoenix pay system since its launch.

As you may be aware we are an Integrated Direct Entry department with approximately 85 employees and one Compensation Advisor in our department.  At this time, we are happy to report that we have not experienced significant issues with the Phoenix pay system and any issues we have encountered have been addressed by our own direct input into the system with the support and guidance of the West Edmonton pay office.  In addition, we have not had any open cases since on-boarding and make every effort to ensure we are current and well informed of relevant information.

I trust this is the information you require at this time.  Should you require any additional information, please don’t hesitate to contact me directly.

Sincerely,

Gareth Jones
