Potential postal service disruption—September 2018

The possible postal service interruption at Canada Post Corporation in September, 2018 may impact the transmission and receipt of pension related information, payment and group insurance benefits.

If you require a pension estimate, service buyback estimate or any other estimates or related documentation during a postal service interruption, you will need to contact the Pension Centre in order to receive this information.

If you are still receiving a monthly paper pension cheque, we encourage you to sign up for direct deposit by contacting the Pension Centre.

Contingency plans are being put into place to ensure minimal disruption to your pension and benefits. Additional information will be posted on the Pension and benefits website if the postal service interruption occurs.
