Online training for federal department users

To all Public Services and Procurement Canada (PSPC) professional methods of supply users.

In order to be granted an account for the Centralized Professional Services System (CPSS) e-portal, users are required to complete one or more online training courses.

Training for professional services methods of supply

In accordance with PSPC's Professional Services National Procurement Strategy, all national professional services methods of supply (MoS) have been harmonized and their access centralized into 1 e-portal—the CPSS. PSPC has adopted a single online harmonized training program for all MoS (with the exception of temporary help services (THS) of which more information is provided below) operating under the common business rules.

In order to obtain access to the harmonized methods of supply for professional services, users must complete the following training:

Supply arrangement

Training for non-harmonized methods of supply

THS for the national capital region (NCR) are also available via the CPSS e-portal, but the method of supply operates under its own, non-harmonized business rules. In order to obtain access to THS, users must complete the following training:

Temporary help services

If you do not have access to the CPSS e-portal, you will need to enroll following the instructions provided at the Enrolment instructions—clients page. Once the on-line CPSS enrolment form has been received by PSPC, the user will be contacted with instructions on how to complete the above courses, available at the Percipio training tool. It is estimated that the 6901 course takes approximately 15 to 20 minutes to complete, the 6903 course will take approximately 2 hours to complete, and the 00005182 course takes approximately 60 minutes to complete.

Upon completion of the training you must inform the CPSS team via email: tpsgc.sspc-cpss.pwgsc@tpsgc-pwgsc.gc.ca.

Access to the CPSS e-portal will be granted upon confirmation from your supervisor that the request is for a federal department employee, as well as confirmation from the Senior Designated Official (SDO) for the management of procurement approving the access under the user’s department and completion of the required training.

Master level user agreements

Regardless of the MoS, search access is conditional upon a Master level user agreement being in place between the enrollee's departmental and the Business and Technology Solutions Sector (BTSS) within PSPC. For more information on this, please contact: tpsgc.sspc-cpss.pwgsc@tpsgc-pwgsc.gc.ca, the Centralized Professional Services.
